Draw-Tite Max-E-Loader Trailer Hitch Installation - 2017 Nissan Quest- Video

Today on our 2017 Nissan Quest, we're going to be taking a look at and showing you how to install, the Draw-Tite class three, custom fit trailer hitch receiver. Part number 75714.Here's what our hitch is gonna look like once we have it fully installed. The cross tube's gonna sit right below the bumper, but all we're really gonna see is the receiver tube sticking out. It's going to give us a two inch by two inch receiver tube opening, and they have a wide variety of accessories that we can mount up. The way we're gonna mount any of our accessories, is to the hitch pin hole here on the side. It is going to accept a standard 5/8ths pin and clip. more

This is what our hitch looks like when it's installed. You can see the cross tube is visible, however it does have a round tube design, so it's going to fit nicely with the contour of the vehicle. It's going to be a class three. It's going to be two inch by two inch. Your hitch pin hole is going to be 5/8 inch in diameter. more

Then we have our Draw-Tite, and that's going to be part number 75714. Both of them install a little differently. With our CURT, you're going to have to get into the rear hatch area of your Quest and remove some bolts. Here on the passenger side, you're going to have to remove the factory tow hook. For our Draw-Tite, you don't have to remove the factory tow hook and all the installation is done on the outside of the vehicle. more

Today on this 2012 Nissan Quest we'll be taking a look at the best hitch options available. Both of our hitches are class III, we have our Curt and that's part number C13078 and then we have our Draw-Tite and that's going to be part number 75714. Both of them install a little differently. With our Curt, you're going to have to get into the rear hatch area of your Quest and remove some bolts. Here on the passenger side you're going to have to remove the factory tow hook. For our Draw-Tite you don't have to remove the factory tow hook and all the installation is done on the outside of the vehicle. There are however some spacer blocks that you'll have to use, they install right here between our tow hook and our hitch. Both of our hitches have 5/8 hitch pin holes to secure our accessories. more

Today on our 2016 Nissan Quest we'll be taking a look at the and installing the CURT trailer hitch class three receiver, part number C13078. The CURT class three trailer hitch is a fully welded hitch. It features a 2" by 2" opening. It also features a 5/8 hitch pinhole. This is going to allow us to secure our accessories. It has a reinforcement plate here on the top for stability, and on bottom, which has our safety chain loops, which will work with most chains. more

Today on our 2016 Nissan Quest, we'll be installing the Curt class 2 trailer hitch inch and a quarter receiver, part number C12061. This fully welded class 2 hitch has an inch and a quarter by inch and a quarter opening. It's perfect for light duty towing or carrying accessories such as cargo carriers or bike racks. A nice thing about this receiver is a hitch pin and clip is included. Our safety chain loops are a welded on plate and they're going to work with most safety chains. It features a 3,500 maximum gross trailer weight rating and a 350 pound max tongue weight rating. more

This is what the hitch looks like once it's installed on the Quest. Next, we'll go ahead and give you some measurements to help you out in selecting some accessories such as a ball mount, a bicycle rack, or a cargo carrier. From the top of the receiver opening down to the ground is about eleven and a quarter inches. From the center of the hitch pin hole to the outside edge of the bumper will be about four inches. Trailer Hitch Installation - 2012 Nissan Quest - Draw-Tite- Video

Today on our 2012 Nissan Quest, well be installing Draw-Tite Hitch part number 75714. Here are a few measurements that will help you with selecting accessories such as a draw bar, cargo carrier or a bike rack. From the top of the receiver tube to the ground is 10 inches and from the center of the hitch pinhole to the outermost point of the bumper is 4 inches. Now well go ahead with our install. Now to begin our installation, well need to lower our exhaust system here at the rubber isolator. Using a spray lubricant, we can spray the isolator down and remove it with a pry bar or, in this case, with our exhaust hanger remover tool. more
